Join the 2008 Heart of Silicon Valley Founder's Circle

Dear Friends,
A warm welcome to the 2008 concert season!  As individuals involved with Heart of Silicon Valley, you have become part of a civic-minded community that is making a difference in our region. Together, we have created a thriving organization that is committed to connecting people through the gift of music and creative expression while building a more vibrant network of philanthropists. 

Founded in 2002, the goal of Heart of Silicon Valley is to bring together an extraordinary collective of artists, musicians, and civic-minded friends to enjoy music while supporting charitable organizations across the Peninsula. Our concerts have raised over $500,000 benefiting nonprofits such as Camp Okizu, Little Kids Rock, Pacific Autism Center for Education, Acterra and the Community School of Music and Arts.  In the process, we have become a catalyst for giving and encouraging philanthropy while building a more cohesive community across our region. 

Now we are asking for your investment to help Heart of Silicon Valley (HOSV) advance to a new level of generosity and philanthropic impact to support Silicon Valley’s neediest citizens and important charitable causes. The purpose of the 2008 Founder’s Circle is to:  

1. Strengthen our infrastructure to support HOSV’s efforts to grant $100,000  a year to local charities 

2. Showcase and support regional organizations addressing health, youth education, arts education and environmental education for underprivileged youth 

3. Expand our role as a center for encouraging philanthropy while creating opportunities for our supporters to meet other influential supporters
